That coupled with discount packages for many of the main attractions all over the state has helped Tourism in Florida get off to a quick start in 08. Great weather, affordable packages, and great accessibility due to major airports have really helped Tourism in Florida. The state needs a strong showing in tourism numbers this year to bring in more income. Tourism in Florida could offset a struggling economy, and provide more jobs and financing for the state.  

Another pleasant surprise to the early 2008 Tourism in Florida numbers is the increase in foreign tourist. People from all over the world are visiting Florida year round. Tourism in Florida has shown new strength and will continue to prosper as more money and effort is put into marketing.
