Disney is now advertising free extra nights when you sign up for a vacation. This is the newest effort by a major corporation in the tourism industry to book guests. Flying and staying at Disney in Orlando is already one of the cheaper family vacations one can take. Disney has sweetened the deal by adding extra days and nights to your stay. As we see more and more companies follow this strategy we can’t help and wonder what will be the signs of a strengthening economy? When people start getting jobs? How about when they start buying houses? Maybe it will be when the companies no longer offer the free gifts and the discounted services. When we have to over pay for something, those were the great days. Four years ago we couldn’t afford anything because it was too expensive, now we can not afford things because we don’t have jobs. We need to find a happy medium, strong salaries, strong jobs, but fair prices. Disney is offering a great deal, what will the deals be like when we can afford to go on vacation again?
